President Muhammadu Buhari's war threat to the people of the South East has been described by Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as empty.
Kanu added that Nigerians do not support Buhari Buhari on his empty civil war threat.
Buhari had on Tuesday threatened to war against those trying to cause insurrections across the country
He issued the threat while condemning the attacks on police stations, correctional facilities and offices of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the Southeast.
Condemning the violence in the Southeast, Buhari had said “individuals or groups who want to destroy his government will receive the shock of their lives.”
The president said they would be treated in a language they would understand.
Reacting, Kanu, in a series of tweets wrote: “You might’ve noticed that these empty THREATS of levying another war against #Biafra are coming exclusively from the Fulanized @NGRPresident and the extremist FULANI ruling class.
“Unlike 1967, they’re alone on this; the rest of Nigeria is not with them. Again, #ThisIsNot1967
“For those suffering from self induced amnesia or who may have conveniently forgotten how the #Fulani Caliphate put #Nigeria in the beautiful mess it’s in today.
“Most pathetic of all, sponsorship of BH didn’t stop late @MBuhari from being voted into power in 2015.”
