President Muhammdu Buhari almost 24 hours after bandits invaded the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna State killing and abducting military officers.

It was gathered that the bandits, who were in a vehicle, disguised in military uniform to gain access into the security gates of the NDA.
Confirming the incident in a statement, the spokesperson of the NDA, Major Bashir Muhammad Jajira, said the cadets in the academy are safe while a manhunt has been launched to track the criminals.
Also, the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has condemned the brazen attack on the military facility by the terrorists on Tuesday morning.
In a statement by the Director of Defence Information, Major General Benjamin Sawyer, the DHQ said security has been beefed up within and in the surrounding of the academy.
He also conveyed the condolence message of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) to the families and associates of the officers who lost their lives during the attack.
However, as of the time of filing this report, President Buhari who is the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces has failed to speak on the attack and yet to visit the military facility in Kaduna.
Also, none of the presidential spokesmen is yet to issue a statement on the brazen attack on the NDA.
