It was yet another pitiful and sorrowful news after a parent of the abducted Chibok girls fainted while marching on Thursday with members of the #Bringbackourgirls (BBOG) group to the presidential villa to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The woman who was rushed for emergency treatment had been trekking to protest government's silence in bringing back the abducted Chibok girls.
Along with her were about 136 parents of the abducted girls who set out from the Unity Fountain in Abuja at 8:35am and marched to the presidential villa protesting the empty boast of government in rescuing the abducted girls.

Led by Oby Ezekwesili, former minister of Education, they are demanding immediate action from the government in fulfilling its promise of making sure that the abducted girls are found.
The devastated parents have been weakened by many promises but have continued to hope for a miracle. It is now at least 600 days since the girls were abducted by the terror group Boko Haram as they were writing examination in a school in Borno, northeast Nigeria.
