Chibuzor Gift Chinenye, the founder of Omega Power Ministry (OPM), has stated that Nigerian families returning from South Africa will receive free lodging and welfare support.
He has urged individuals who are allegedly sleeping at airports to take advantage of the scheme.
In a post shared on social media, Chinenye said he got information that some returns from South Africa were spending nights at the airport owing to a shortage of shelter.
He urged to them to migrate to OPM’s free accomodation facility, where they can stay till they restore stability.
Free support for families
According to him, the offer is open exclusively to returnees with families.
He stated that their children will be admitted free of charge into any of OPM’s 43 free schools, with free daily bus transportation supplied.
Additionally, Chinenye stated that pupils who finish secondary school under the scheme will be eligible for OPM university scholarships, which will allow them to attend Nigerian institutions without having to take the ministry's standard scholarship exam.
He stated that both parents and children would have access to free medical treatment at OPM’s free hospital.
Training in skills and business assistance
The preacher further announced that mothers will receive shops to relaunch small companies, noting many had lost their means of income after their businesses in South Africa were vandalised.
Additionally, he said that men would be able to learn several trades at no cost by enrolling in OPM's free skills acquisition centers.
"You don't need to sleep at the airport there is a free accommodation for you and your family till when you are able to get back to your feet," Chinenye wrote, urging impacted families to seek assistance rather than staying at the airport. Because GOD ALMIGHTY shall restore what you lost.”
In order to reach stranded returnees who might not be aware of the available support, he asked Nigerians to spread the word.
The program is "FULLY FUNDED THROUGH TITHES AND OFFERINGS FROM OPM CHURCH," Chinenye said in closing.
