Panic As Hit-And-Run Vehicle Kills Man, Injures Another In Delta Community

Daily Post reports that a hit and run vehicle has caused serious mayhem in Delta.

The vehicle killed a man and injured another at Okuokoko community in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.

The incident occurred at about 7:30 pm on Friday, at Jesu-Ovie junction, Daily Post reports .

Sources hinted that the victim simply identified as “Baba” was crossing the road when the hit and run vehicle (a white Lexus) knocked him down, leaving his skull burst open.

The hit and run vehicle also injured another person who was coming down from his vehicle parked by the side of the road.

He has been rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The President-General of Okuokoko community, Evang. Believe Otatohwoma, who spoke to our correspondent, expressed sadness over the development.

He described it as a big loss to the family of the deceased and the entire community.
