The Peoples Redemption Party says President Bola Tinubu's government is incompetent and indifferent as killings and kidnappings spread across the country.
In a statement titled "STOP THE BLOODLETTING," signed by National Chairman Dr Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the party said Nigerians are losing their lives, property and freedom to criminals.
The party said the scale of attacks and the impunity of attackers make it seem as if Nigerians live in a lawless country.
It accused the government of spending heavily to win political support instead of protecting citizens.
The party named Kwara, Niger, Benue, Kebbi, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kaduna, Borno, Plateau and Yobe as states facing insecurity.
It said the government relies on press statements instead of real action. It also expressed concern for soldiers and volunteers fighting the attacks.
The party questioned Tinubu's request for another four year term.
It said he still has four months left in office and must do his duty to protect Nigerians.
Baba-Ahmed added that Nigerians cannot wait until May 2027 to demand action.
