The Federal High Court in Abuja fixed November 20 for a ruling on Atiku Abubakar's request to amend his case against President Tinubu and the APC.

Justice Inyang Ekwo set the date on Tuesday after lawyers on both sides made their arguments.

Atiku and the ADC first asked the court to remove Tinubu and the APC from the 2027 presidential race.

They say the APC sent a forged NYSC discharge certificate for Tinubu to INEC.

They also asked the court to order INEC to take both names off the list of candidates.

Tinubu and the APC deny forging any certificate or sending one to INEC.

They say the NYSC has never said it failed to issue the discharge certificate.

Tinubu's lawyer, Wole Olanipekun SAN, argues that the case is too late under the law and cannot be changed in this way. INEC also opposes the request.

Atiku's side wants to fix mistakes in the paperwork.

They say the form was wrongly named CF001 when it should be EC9A.

They also want to add more details about the alleged fraud and attach clearer copies of documents.

They insist no new issue or new request has been added.
