Workers And Nigerians Are Suffering - Labour Cries Out, Informs FG

 

The federal government has been told to immediately come to the aid of Nigerian workers.

 

According to members of the organized Labour under the aegis of the National Union of Chemical, Footwear, Rubber, Leather and Non-Metallic Products Employees (NUCFRLANMPE), Nigerians are really suffering.

 

They said the government should introduce policies to cushion the removal of subsidy on petrol. 

 

The group's President, Mr Babatunde Olatunji who spoke at the opening ceremony of its 31st annual industrial relations seminar, said the removal of fuel subsidy had impacted on the citizens, especially workers. He stated that Nigerians and workers are suffering.
