With a commitment to curbing the surge in criminal activities within society, the Nigeria Police Force, Fika Divisional Station in Yobe State, apprehended a suspected kidnapper named Kabir Sani from Tadangara village. This arrest was made at Ngalda market following valuable tip-off information.
DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Yobe Police Command, Damaturu made the disclosure.
He said the 27-year-old suspect was arrested for criminal conspiracy; kidnapping, homicide and armed robbery.
“The suspect is complying with our investigation and helping in the trace to arrest other syndicate members. The operation and search are ongoing at the axis of Fika, Gulani and Gujba LGA.
“Exhibits recovered include AK-47 rifle, revolver Akwa made with a loaded magazine of ammunition, motorcycle and sim cards of different brands while an investigation is in progress”.
He added that the Commissioner of Police, CP Garba Ahmed is seeking support of all and sundry towards ensuring a crime-free society as well as flushing out criminal elements in the state.
