Nigeria's First Lady, Remi Tinubu, paid a condolence visit to Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi, the Chairman of the Governors Advisory Council (GAC) in Lagos State, over the demise of his wife on Saturday 14th October.
Tinubu was accompanied on the visit by the wife of the Lagos State Governor, Dr Mrs Ibijoke Sanwoolu, and the wife of the State Deputy Governor, Mrs Oluremi Hamzat.
She described the demise of the Late Alhaja Mariam Olusi as very painful, as it occurred a day after her husband celebrated his 87th birthday.
The First Lady also shared fond memories of the late Alhaja Olusi who she said was a quiet, gentle and loving woman.
Mrs Tinubu urged the husband, children and grandchildren of the deceased to take solace in the fact that she lived a fulfilled life.
In his response, the husband of the deceased, Prince Olusi thanked the First Lady for the visit, saying he would sorely miss the woman he spent 57 years of his life with.
However, prayers were offered by the Chief Imam of Lagos and others for the repose of the soul of the departed.
The late Alhaja Maryam Olusi was 77 years old and is survived by her husband, children and grandchildren.
