Emmanuel Emenike
Former Super Eagles player, Emmanuel Emenike, has again called out the Lagos state government over the demolition of properties blocking the drainage canal in the state.
Emenike stated that government has no right to demolish a property that was given approval by the relevant state authorities.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Emenike also stated that he has no problem with any tribe in Nigeria but wants a better country.
He wrote;
‘’I have no problem with any tribe in this beautiful country called Nigeria, my point is that once an approval has been given by the relevant authority to anyone and development is carried out based on the approval, then you don’t have any right to demolish anyone’s house. we all love and want a better country.''
Recall that on Tuesday, October 17, Emenike condemned the recent demolition of houses by the Lagos state. He then advised Igbos whose houses were demolished to take their investments back to the South East.
He wrote,
"The sadness is too much after getting approval from the same Lagos State Government. This is pure wickedness. Igbos are in trouble. Bring your investment back home my people. We have Abia State, Imo State, Anambra State, Enugu State and Ebonyi State.”
