Nigerian businesswoman, Mabel Makun has lamented that the current exchange rate is killing businesses.
She took to her Instagram page to lament and wrote:
“Never been this afraid for my country Nigeria.”
She added a worried face emoji, then continued, "Exchange rate is killing businesses. We are tired of increasing prices! Business is now draining!
"An average common man can no longer afford a loaf of bread.
"Parents withdrawing their kids from school for home tutor.
“Basic needs now luxury. Everything is high. Affordability has suddenly become fiction!”
She ended with, “What is the way out?"
Her followers have flooded her post with comments expressing the same sentiment.
