Nigeria Is A Work In Progress - Atiku’s Lawyer, Ozekhome Reacts To Supreme Court Judgement

Mike Ozekhome, one of the legal representatives of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has reacted to the Supreme Court judgement which affirmed the victory of President Bola Tinubu.

The Supreme Court, on Thursday, dismissed the appeal filed by Atiku and his Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, against the election of President Tinubu.

In a unanimous verdict read by the lead justice of a seven-justice panel, Justice Inyang Okoro, the court ruled that the appeal filed by Atiku lacked merit.

Speaking with reporters after the verdict, Ozekhome, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), said the development shows that the country is a work in progress.

He said, “Nigeria is a work in progress.”
