Nigerian Doctor Pays N1.5M As Bride Price And N60k For The Marriage List

A Nigerian lady has taken to 'X' formerly Twitter to disclose that her cousin who is a medical doctor, paid the sum of N1.5m as bride price and an additional N60k to collect the list of marriage items he will purchase.

She said the bride's family collected the huge sum because, according to them, their daughter is a ‘graduate’

“Today, My cousin paid 1.5million as bride price and 60k to collect the list plus the things on the list. Girl’s family said its 1.5million because she’s a “graduate”.

My cousin is a Medical Doctor/ Surgeon but oh well! It doesn’t matter to them,” she wrote on Saturday, October 28.
