BREAKING: Rivers Crisis: Fubara, Adeleke, Obaseki Others Arrive PDP Govs Meeting

Siminalayi Fubara, the Rivers State Governor, Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, and Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki have arrived at Oyo State Governors Lodge in Abuja for the party’s forum meeting, The PUNCH reports.

The PUNCH reports that moves by 24 members of the Rivers State House of Assembly to impeach Governor Fubara resulted in turbulence in the state on Monday, as the governor’s loyalists stormed the assembly complex in protest against the plot.

The PDP Governors’ Forum, under the leadership of Bala Mohammed, is expected to discuss the off-season elections in Kogi, Bayelsa and Imo States, the Rivers state political crisis and other party-related issues.
