How Gallant Vigilante Group Cornered And Killed A Suspected Notorious Kidnapper In Kebbi

A suspected notorious kidnapper called Dogo Oro, has been killed by men of a vigilante group at Tunga village, Tilli ward in Bunza Local Government Area of Kebbi State.

Dogo is suspected to be the kidnapper terrorizing parts of Bunza and Kalgo LGAs of the state.

The development was disclosed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Kebbi State Governor, Ahmed Idris in a statement he issued on Friday.

Quoting the Director of Security, Cabinet Office, Abdulrahman Usman, the CPS made the confirmation while giving an update on the security situation in the state.

Usman said, “The suspected notorious bandit appeared this morning shooting people with a bore and arrow but our vigilante men gunned him down.

“Sanusi Ibrahim-Geza, Kebbi State Commander, Vigilante has confirmed that the incident happened Friday morning as reported by their Bunza LGA Commander, C/suv Faruku Mashayabo.”

According to him, the success recorded by the vigilante group has raised hope amongst residents, saying with the development, members of the community would now settle down and go about their normal businesses.
