Philomina Ahobee, the girlfriend of the final year student of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Agbaidu Joseph, who was stabbed to death by suspected robbers is mourning his tragic demise.

Recall that the Bauchi State Police Command disclosed that the final year student was stabbed while trying to retrieve his girlfriend, Philomina Ahobee's handbag from the assailants.

TORI reported that the 500 Lvl Geology student died in the hospital after he was attacked by assailants on Saturday, December 2, 2023, in the Yelwa area of the Bauchi metropolis.

The victim was rushed to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH) Bauchi for medical treatment where he was confirmed dead by a doctor on duty.

The incident sparked a protest among students of the institution who came out in their numbers at the Yelwa campus to express their anger at the inadequate security in the area.

Philomena, in a Facebook post, stated that they were together when the unfortunate incident occurred.

"May the Lord be with you. I know you are safe in the arms of Jesus now. Haba Agabaidu Joseph your sun set too soon. I still can't believe but its because we were together when it's happened and me got injured, Someone special will never be forgotten. Death the last sleep? till we meet to depart no more. I pray your spirit find rest with God Almighty," she wrote.
