Area Boys Extort 25k From Man Whose Vehicle Broke Down On A 'Federal Road'

Nigerian sports analyst, Charles  Anazodo, has taken to the 'X' platform to narrate how his friend was extorted of N25,000 in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

According to him, the friend's car broke down on Wednesday, January 24, and area boys demanded that he pay the sum of N70,000.

According to the area boys, his car broke down on a Federal road, hence the reason he had to pay the outrageous sum before they finally settled at 25k.

‘’A friend's car broke down on Ikorodu Road last night, and area boys surrounded him, demanding a fee of 70k because, according to them, his car broke down on a federal road. He was alone and eventually settled on 25k. This happened in a mega city.'' he wrote.
