It was gathered that a new team of lawyers to be led by Alloy Ejimakor will take over Kanu’s defense in the 7-count charges.
Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has recruited new lawyers to defend him against terrorism charges brought by the fedreal government.
This is as Kanu’s trial is expected to resume at the Federal High Court in Abuja today.
It was gathered that a new team of lawyers to be led by Alloy Ejimakor will take over Kanu’s defense in the 7-count charges.
No reason has been adduced to the change in the legal team being led before now by Chief Mike Ozekhome SAN and Ifeanyi Ejiofor.
Meanwhile, the court already has lawyers and sympathizers of the Biafra agitator present.
