The Lagos State Police Command apprehended a serving member of the Nigerian Army for allegedly stabbing a motorcyclist inside a bar in the Ikorodu area of the state on April 13th.
According to police sources, a report was filed at the Ikorodu police division by the Chief Security Officer of the bar that the officer attached to 159 Battalion in Yobe state, stabbed the victim, Saheed Isa, with a gun-like jack knife on the upper left side of his stomach following a misunderstanding they had in the bar.
The police immediately swung into action. The victim was immediately rushed to a hospital where he is currently receiving treatment while the suspect is now being investigated.
Investigation into the matter is ongoing.
