Lead British School to Punish Students Caught Bullying in Viral Video

 

 

The Lead British International, LBI, Abuja, has revealed it plans to take disciplinary measures against students seen bullying other students.

 

This followed viral videos from the school showing different students being bullied by their classmates.

 

Abraham Ogunkanmbi, Head of School at LBI Abuja, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.

 

Recall that there was outrage among Nigerians following a viral video of a female student being intimidated in the school by her peers.

 

However, Ogunkanmbi said the school had reached out to the “victim and family to provide support, including access to counselling services to help them cope with the emotional and psychological impact of the incident”.

 

He added, “We will work with the perpetrators and their families, offering counselling and disciplinary measures to address their behaviour, which has no place in society.
