Soldier Armed With Knife Caught On Camera Grabbing Robbery Suspect’s Manhood To Get Confession, Threatening To Cut It Off

A video has surfaced showing a Nigerian soldier brutalizing a suspect, including grabbing his genitals and threatening to cut them off.

The soldier who spoke in Yoruba while holding tight to the suspect’s manhood in the viral video questioned the suspect over a robbery incident in Lagos, southwest Nigeria.

Two soldiers could be seen in the video.

The suspect answered, “I robbed on Atere Road at Super.”

When one of the soldiers, while holding the suspect’s manhood, asked when the robbery was carried out, the suspect said the previous week.

He admitted that he was caught with a gun.

There have been several cases of torture and brutalisation of suspects and innocent civilians by Nigerian soldiers.

For instance, SaharaReporters in April reported how some personnel of the Nigerian Army allegedly brutally killed one of the section managers of Hotel Royal Damgrete, Umuahia, Abia State where a Nigerian Air Force cadet reportedly drowned in the swimming pool.

The manager identified as Mr Achimugu James Etubi from Kogi State was the head of the food and beverage department of the hotel located on Factory Road.

He was reportedly tortured to death by the soldiers inside a military barracks.
