A school has been thrown into chaos after a ghost was allegedly caught on camera in one of the corridors.
The school in northern Malaysia has been evacuated due to an outbreak of 'mass hysteria' when pupils were 'possessed' by a spirit.
According to Mirror Online, the school building was shut after students and teachers claimed they saw 'ghosts' walking the halls and going into panic.
School authorities alerted Islamic traditional experts, scholars and even witch doctors to perform prayer sessions and 'exorcisms' inside.
The hysteria began last week after a number of people claimed they had suffered supernatural experience.
They have now reopened the school but officials are still trying to figure out what happened.
A group of pupils said they had seen a 'black figure' walking around SKM Pengkalan Chepa 2 school in Kelantan.
Local news channel Astro Awani reported that one teacher felt a "heavy" presence was hanging on to her.
Another said that a "black figure" was trying to enter her body.
A senior school staff member told the BBC: "Our students were possessed and disturbed [by these spirits].
"We are not sure why it happened. We don't know what it is that affected us.
"But the place is a bit old, and these children can be disobedient and sometimes throw their rubbish around the school grounds.
"Perhaps they hit some 'djinns' (ghosts) and offended the spirits."
