Mr Ibu
The funeral ceremony of late veteran actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu is currently ongoing at his hometown in Amuri, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.
In the video, some men were seen removing the casket of the late actor from a vehicle.
Mr Ibu died in March 2024 of cardiac arrest in Lagos.
The death of the comic actor followed complications from the amputation of one of his legs.
The Enugu-born actor came to the limelight in 2004 with the movie “Mr Ibu,” featuring another popular actor, the late Ita Iheme.
The deceased starred in more than 200 Nollywood films, including ‘Mr Ibu,’ ‘Mr. Ibu and His Son,’ ‘Coffin Producers,’ ‘Husband Suppliers,’ ‘International Players,’ ‘Mr. Ibu in London,’ ‘Police Recruit’ and many others.
The graduate of the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu State, died at the age of 62.
