A 30-year-old married teacher in Australia has been arrested and charged after she was allegedly caught having s3x with a student in the back of her car.
Tayla Brailey was arrested at Lurnea High this week and charged with s3xual intercourse with a child under her authority, s3xually touching a child under her authority, and aggravated s3xual assault of a child under her authority.
According to court documents, the newlywed broke down when police arrived at the Sydney school where she works and became hysterical.
She allegedly said: “I am going to jail, aren’t I? I’m going to lose my family, my husband, my job.”
According to a report by the Daily Telegraph, new details about Brailey’s alleged crimes were revealed in court.
Police allege that Brailey sent videos to the 17-year-old of herself m@sturbating and that she bought the morning-after pill after an alleged s3xual encounter.
The alleged affair with the student started when the boy added Brailey on Snapchat and the pair began exchanging messages in early July.
“The accused [allegedly] sent a number of photographs and videos of herself both n@ked and while she was m@sturbating herself,” the police facts state.
“The victim also returned a number of photographs and videos of himself.”
Brailey then invited the teenager to her home, where she allegedly kissed him before taking him to an upstairs room and giving him a 'h@nd' job.
Around a week later, Brailey was on duty at school when she contacted the teen and told him she was free for an hour.
They then met and had s3x in Brailey’s car after which she purchased the morning-after pill, police claim.
Contact between the pair then ceased until Brailey allegedly contacted the alleged victim to ask him if he had told people about their alleged s3xual encounter to which he said no.
The boy later told police that he felt he had to send Brailey explicit images to keep her “happy.”
Brailey was married in 2023 and was supported in court by her parents and husband.
Brailey was granted bail at Liverpool Crown Court and must report to police three times a week, surrender her passport and abstain from social media.
