On Wednesday, Iyabo Anisulowo, a former minister who was rescued by the police on Tuesday at about 7:00p.m at Gbegbelawo village near Olorunda town in Abeokuta North Council Area, after days in the den of kidnappers, described her experience as 'terrible and dehumanising.'
It can be recalled that the former minister was abducted on Wednesday along Sawonjo-Iganokoto road in Yewa-South Council Area of the state.
The 65-year-old former minister, who arrived at the Government House at Isale-Igbehin at about 10:00p.m in company of the State Commissioner of Police, Abdulmajid Ali, was later pictured with Ogun State governor, Ibikunle Amosun.
Mrs. Anisulowo who said she knew security agents were searching for her, said that this gave her strength and hope that she would survive the incident, adding that she had not eaten since Wednesday and only lived on water.
Gov. Ibikunle Amosun who commended the security agencies which deployed their personnel and equipment in the rescue effort, said although the abductors demanded a ransom of N200 million, nothing was eventually paid.
