Controversial Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fashola is fast becoming a major force in the People's Democratic Party after his successful role in the emergence of Ali Modu Sheriff as the party's acting chairman.

Despite PDP elders blasting him for some certain political decisions as regards the opposition party, Gov. Fayose of Ekiti seems to be waxing stronger in popularity.

He has endorsed his media adviser, Lere Olayinka for the post of PDP National Publicity Secretary. He was pictured wearing him a cap of honour on his campaign poster.
