Nigerian activist and former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili has celebrated her husband Chinedu Ezekwesili on their 37th wedding anniversary.

She took to X on Monday to celebrate the wonderful anniversary and their enduring love.

She shared a story about the day Chinedu proposed, recalling her joyful acceptance, and reaffirmed her lifelong commitment to him.

“#ThirtySeven today, my guy Pastor Chinedu T. Ezekwesili and I am forever blessing our God for that day you asked me and I said a resounding yes.

“And I will always love you until we return to the one who’s shown us the everlasting love upon which we centered ours in good times and tough times through the years.

You’re still the one I want for life.” she wrote.

The couple, who got married in 1988, are blessed with three children: Chinemelum, Childera, and Chinweuba.
