Nigerian medical doctor Kelechi Okoro aka Healthertainer has made a shocking revelation.
She opened up that she has attempted su!cide multiple times.
Okoro spoke up to mark World Su!cide Prevention Day, which is today, September 10.
She wrote on X: "Today is World Su!cide prevention day and this is the first time i would have the guts to admit openly that i have attempted suicide severally.
"Please if you are close to me Dont ask me privately. I am not ready to share explicitly until i deal with all of my demons.
"I can only assure you i wont try committing su!cide again and the major reason is that everything i tried didn't work.
"I have woken up in a pool of my own blood severally and found myself still alive. Disappointed that i was still alive. So i stopped trying.
"@is_salsu remember that day many years ago i sent you a disturbing message. And you panicked and tried to reach people to check up on me in Lokoja.
"My friend Alim knocked on my door for hours till i woke up o. I still packaged and told him i was okay and we laughed and carried on like i didn't almost di£ hours ago."
"Check up on your strong friends," she concluded.
