Benue State Governor Alia’s Aide Reportedly K!dnapped

Suspected kidnappers have reportedly abducted Terver Atu Joseph, a Special Assistant to the Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, on Youth and Media Mobilization.
It was gathered that the incident occurred on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
According to Benue activist, Ukan Kurugh, Terver's wife said he called her before his phone line went off, saying he had been kidnapped and asked that his mother be informed.
Subsequent attempts to reach him and locate his whereabouts proved abortive.
Details of the abduction remain unclear at the time of filing this report,
Meanwhile, family members have appealed to security agencies to act swiftly to secure his safe release.
