2027: What Will Make Peter Obi Prevail Over Atiku In ADC – Bashir Ahmad

Bashir Ahmad, a former media aide to the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, has revealed that only a primary election would decide if Peter Obi can prevail over former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

Ahmad noted that Obi has a lot of supporters among young voters while Atiku has established structures and machinery.

Posting on X, Ahmad wrote: “The likelihood of Peter Obi prevailing over Atiku Abubakar in the ADC primaries largely hinges on the mode of the primaries.

“Obi commands significant support among young voters, while Atiku enjoys the backing of established structures and the party machinery.”

Obi, former Labour Party presidential candidate, recently defected to the ADC.

There are indications that Obi will vie for the ADC’s presidential ticket alongside Atiku.
