Police Arrest 3 Over Attacks on Students in Osogbo

Osun State Police arrested three suspected criminals for terrorising students and residents around Oke-Baale in Osogbo.

The suspects are Abass Quadri, 26; Olanrewaju Joshua, 24; and Yusuf Taiwo, 25.

Police said they arrested them following complaints from Osun State University students who reported constant attacks along their routes.

Officers raided a suspected hideout on September 9 and caught all three.

According to police, the men would stop students by force, threaten them, take their phones and demand they transfer money.

The three have been charged to court.

Police said they are still hunting for others involved in the crimes and urged the public to report suspicious activities to the nearest station.
