NOI Poll: Nigerians Rate Osinbajo Higher Than Buhari

 

 

According to the latest NOI poll, 50% of the Nigerians who participated in the survey believe that Acting President Yemi Osinbajo is doing a very good job as Acting President.

 

The last time the presidential approval rating edged up to 50% was in February 2016, when it was 57%. Some Nigerians have stopped anticipating the return of President Muhammadu Buhari from London, United Kingdom on a protracted medical vacation. Osinbajo has been urged to proceed with the good work.

 

 

NOIPolls is a country-specific polling service in the West African region, in technical partnership with Gallup (USA) to develop opinion research in Nigeria.

 

NOIPolls is named after its creator, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (NOI), former vice president of World Bank. In 2006, after serving the Olusegun Obasanjo's regime, NOI saw a vacuum in the system that there was no independent opinion polling capacity for a country of over 170 million people. 

 

She decided to create NOIPolls, as a platform where the voices of ordinary Nigerians can be collated and used to support decision making.
