Shocker: How Ex-husband Locked His Wife Inside Bedroom So He Could Eat Dinner in Peace

Kevin Drake, a 59-year-old man has been sentenced for false imprisonment after he locked his ex-wife in a bedroom so that he could eat his dinner in peace.
Metro UK reports that Kevin Drake, was told he can’t speak to Moira Drake for five years except through a solicitor.
A court heard that he was trying to eat his dinner when they started arguing about the whereabouts of a cigarette lighter at their home in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
They had been married for 34 years and she had moved out of the marital home but she returned for a short time to sort out financial arrangements.
After the argument about the lighter Mrs Drake went to her bedroom, but she then realised that Mr Drake had locked the door behind her.
She shouted for help from the bedroom window and when police arrived they found Mr Drake eating his evening meal.
Prosecutor Stephen Wood told Bradford Crown Court: ‘He said he locked her in to eat his tea in peace. Once he had finished, he would have let her out.’
Mr Drake pleaded guilty and the court heard he had not been in trouble previously.
His barrister, Sophie Drake, told the court they had separated in 2012 adding: ‘It wasn’t a happy household.’
The pair are now living separately.
