Probe Nollywood Over GEJ's $200m Largesse - Actress Shan George Tells EFCC

 

While speaking with newsmen recently, Nollywood screen diva, Shan George has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to beam its searchlight on the Movie Industry after Bank of Industry denied receiving $200 million from former President Goodluck Jonathan for Nollywood.

“I’m using this fine morning to ask this fine question. Who ate the money ex-president Jonathan gave to Nollywood? EFCC please probe this,” the actress said believing that the money had been squandered by some people in the industry.
 

In an interview few weeks ago, Lari Williams called President Buhari to probe the $200million released to the movie industry by the immediate past administration (Read Here), but the Bank of Industry released a statement, saying that they did not receive any money.
