Why I was Not at Anambra Governorship Debate - Actor-turned Politicain, Yul Edochie

Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has finally opened up on why he did not attend the debate for candidates of the Anambra governorship election on Sunday.

Politicians and those in the corridors of power have deceived us for too long.
Its time to be wise.
If they had been doing all they promised during debates we wouldn't be suffering today.
Vote them out!

Channels TV had on Sunday, organised a debate for candidates of the Anambra state governorship election because, and Nollywood actor-turned politician, Yul Edochie, who was conspicuosly absent, has come out to that he did not attend the debate becuase he was not invited as only 5 of the 37 candidates in the election took part in the debate

I wasn't invited to the debate. But its nothing to worry about. We'll keep the spirit high and keep campaigning. Its time for the masses to have a say.

The screenstar took to his official Twitter handle, and shrugged off being overlooked, saying that his spirit remains high, adding that he would continue with his campaign.

He said; “It’s time for the masses to have a say. November 18th, stand with me, the future is in our hands.”

My people lets not dwell on the issue of the debate. I wasn't invited to the debate. But its ok. Lets focus on our campaign and keep pushing. We shall be victorious come November 18th.

Yul, who is the son of veteran movie star, Pete Edochie, was returned unopposed as the candidate of the Democratic Peoples Congress, (DPC) for the election.

Although 37 political parties will participate in the November 18 election, only the candidates of the five major parties took part in the debate.
