See How Fani-Kayode Reacted To IBB's Scathing Statement To President Buhari

 

Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party and former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to a statement credited to former military Head of State, Ibrahim Babaginda urging President Muhammadu Buhari not to contest in 2019.

 

The statement generated controversy after a counter-statement was reportedly issued by IBB disowning the first statement which was released by his spokesperson Prince Kazeem Afegbua.

 

However, in an interview with ThisDay, IBB admitted that he authorised the first statement released by Afegbua.

 

 

Reacting to the statement, Fani-Kayode urged President Buhari to heed to the words of wisdom from his former colleagues.

 

He wrote: "Kudos to IBB for telling Buhari to go. That, together with OBJ's timely warning, has made Buhari history. We wait to hear from Gen. TY Danjuma. Once he slams Buhari too it is all over. It is either he goes quietly in 2019 or the dogs and the baboons will both be soaked in blood."
