The national chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), is currently meeting with Senate President Bukola Saraki and the party senate's caucus.

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie-Oyegun, alongside the members of the APC National Working Committee are currently at the National Assembly to attend the caucus meeting of APC senators.
While addressing the press shortly before commencement of the meeting, Odigie-Oyegun said his appearance hinged on the need to commiserate with the senate on the death of a senator, Ali Wakili, and to strategise towards 2019 elections.
The APC chairman said “issues” will be discussed at the meeting. “We are here to discuss issues, that we are in election in less than a year,” Oyegun said.
“We are here to talk, listen and strategise on the best way leading to February 2019.”
Oyegun also condoled with the lawmakers over the demise of Ali Wakili, senator representing Bauchi south.
