Nollywood Star, Funke Adesiyan Recalls How She Lost A Child 3 Years Ago As She Consoles D'Banj

We reported earlier today that Nigerian singer, D’banj had lost his only son after the boy apparently fell into a pool and drowned.

 

Following the sad incident, celebrities across the entertainment industry poured out on Instagram to console the entertainer over the loss and pray for his family.

 

Famous actress, Funke Adesiyan also joined sympathizers to reach out to the obviously grieving father, revealing that she also lost a child of hers some years ago.

 

In her words of comfort, Adesiyan revealed that the pain of losing a child is one that never goes away, one only learns to live with it. She recalled how she lost a child three years ago in an event that has remained the most devastating thing to happen to her.

 

She wrote: “Lost a child 3yrs ago. It’s still the singular devastating thing that happened to me.
