The acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo was at the Abuja House in London on Tuesday, to see President Muhammadu Buhari who has spent two months on medical leave.

The Presidency through its Twitter handle (@NGRPresident) on Tuesday night, revealed that the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo will be involved in a highly secretive meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, in London, United Kingdom.

It was learned that the two met in a one-on-one setting, with aides of the Acting President not allowed in, so as to avoid revealing the real condition of President Buhari to the public.

Spokesman for the Acting President, Laolu Akande, tweeted after the visit that information about what transpired will be made known soon.

He said “it was a good meeting”.

Akande had announced the visit on Tuesday night and that Osinbajo would return immediately after. A Federal Executive Council Meeting takes place every Wednesday in Abuja.

“Osinbajo meeting with President Buhari in London today, and returning to Abuja immediately afterwards,” the vice president’s spokesman posted earlier on Tuesday. No details were given.

Meanwhile photos and the video footage of Prof. Osinbajo emerging from Abuja house in London after the closed-door meeting with the country's leaders.

As at the time of filing this report, Tori News could still not ascertain the details of the meeting, but Reuters reported that the President and his vice, spent one hour during the Tuesday night meeting.
