Reports reaching us from a weekly magazine claims highly vocal Governor of Kaduna state and former FCT Minister, Mallam Nasir El Rufai is set to marry President Muhammadu Buhari' daughter, Zahra.

According to a Kaduna based newspaper, The Polity Weekly, the state's governor, Nasir El-Rufai is set to wed President Buhari’s daughter, Zahra.

Reporters are currently making contacts with appropriate authorities to confirm the authenticity of the news since it is not clear on the authenticity of the report.

At the time of filing in this report, there has been no confirmation from neither the camp of the former FCT minister nor from the Presidency.

It should be recalled that the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II recently tied the knot with an 18-year old Adamawa princess which affirms the possibility of El-Rufai following suit, since the Islamic religion does not forbid polygamy.
