President Muhammadu Buhari has just told state governors that the Nigerian economy is in bad shape.

While speaking with State House correspondents in Abuja on Friday, Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Abdulaziz Yari, disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari, told state governors that the Nigerian economy is in bad shape.

According to PUNCH, the Governor of Zamfara State, and other states governors had met with Buhari briefly at the Presidential Villa after the National Economic Council meeting, which took place on Friday.

The governor said that the President informed the governors that “the economy is in bad shape and that we have to come together, think and rethink on the way forward.”
