This baby elephant was rescued after being spotted wandering inside Okomu oil palm plantation in Edo State.

This nice gesture has been commended by Nigerians across the social media space. The circumstances surrounding how the animal was discovered remains unknown.

Many have called for the protection of animals to prevent their extinction.
