Singer, Zlatan Ibile Reveals How He Did Menial Jobs Before Fame

Nigerian singer, Zlatan Ibile has talked about how he did menial jobs before he became famous as a singer.

Zlatan Ibile has become the latest Nigerian celebrity to share his story before fame. The street pop act took to his Twitter page to reveal that he did some menial jobs before he became the super star singer that he is today.

According to him, he was a bricklayer, cut grass for people and worked in a cold room at 10 thousand naira per month.

Sharing a photo of his first car which he won from a talent hunt at the age of 19, Zlatan wrote: “Before I won this car, I do bricklayer, cut grass for people land to lay foundation, I work for cold-room for ikorodu isawo! 10k per month! I do too many many. But I thank God for my life today.”

Zlatan Ibile since rising to fame has had a number of controversies trail him, most notably his arrest alongside fellow singer, Naira Marley for their alleged involvement with cybercrime better known as Yahoo Yahoo.

Following the arrest, Zlatan was released some few days later while the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission later filed charges against Naira Marley who spent over a month in detention.

Some few days ago, Nigerian singer, Davido took to social media to congratulate Zlatan Ibile on clinching three awards at the just concluded AFRIMMA.
