Harvey Weinstein once wrote Jennifer Aniston “should be killed” after wrongly believing she had accused him of groping her.

The convicted rapist suggested the Friends star should be murdered writing the threat to his representative.

In one email, from documents unsealed ahead of his sentencing, Weinstein wrote: “Jen Aniston should be killed”.

The actress’s publicist Stephen Huvane has denied the disgraced movie mogul ever assaulted her.

“He never got close enough to her to touch her
,” Huvane said in a statement.

“She has never been alone with him. We have no idea about the email since it wasn’t sent to us, nor do we have any comment to make on it.”

Last year, in an interview with Variety magazine, Aniston opened up about her encounters with Weinstein, with whom she worked the 2005 thriller Derailed.

She described an uncomfortable moment she had with the filmmaker during a dinner for the film’s premiere.

She said: "I remember I was sitting at the dinner table with Clive [Owen] and our producers, and a friend of mine was sitting with me. And he literally came to the table and said to my friend, 'Get up' And I was like, 'Oh my gosh.' And so my friend got up and moved, and Harvey sat down. It was just such a level of gross entitlement and piggish behaviour."

The actress also described how the producer tried to force her into wearing a design from Marchesa, the fashion brand that belonged to his then-wife, Georgina Chapman.

Aniston told how he visited her in London when she was shooting the film, around the same time Marchesa had launched.

She explained: “He’d be like, ‘Okay, so I’d like you to wear one of these to the premiere.’ And I went through the book, and at the time, it wasn’t what it is today. It was not for me.

“He was like, ‘You have to wear the dress.’ That was my only bullying. And I was like, ‘No, I will not wear the dress.’”

When asked whether Weinstein accepted her refusal of the dress, Aniston said, “Well, what was he going to do? Come over here and make me wear it?!”

The details of threat emerged as more than 1,000 pages of previously unsealed documents were made public ahead of his sentencing.

His legal team have pleaded with a judge to sentence the rapist to five years in prison fearing he may die behind bars if longer.

The disgraced movie mogul was last month found guilty of third-degree rape and a first-degree criminal sex act, following a four week trial in Manhattan.

The 67-year-old faces up to 29 years in prison.
