According to a report by The Nation, the Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai, is currently on his way to Awe town, Nasarawa state, to visit the deposed emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II.

The Kaduna state governor is said to be about to meet the former governor of the central bank governor in his exiled home in Awe.
