At least 116 students of Elizade University in Ilara Mokin, Ondo State, will graduate with first class degrees at the coming convocation.

A total of 964 students are graduating with their degree.

The graduates come from the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions.

The university will award 884 bachelor's degrees and 80 postgraduate qualifications.

Of the undergraduates, 358 are from the 2024/2025 session and 526 from the 2025/2026 session.

For the undergraduate results, 116 students earned first class degrees, 398 got second class upper, 299 got second class lower, 69 got third-class and two earned pass degrees.

Oguntade said the results show the hard work of students and staff, as well as the university's focus on standards, discipline and quality checks.

He said the graduates have been trained to show strong thinking, professional skills, business initiative and ethical responsibility.

He also said the university was fully accredited in all six programmes it was assessed on by the National Universities Commission during its October/November 2025 exercise.

These are Law, Accounting and Finance, Microbiology, Business Administration, Human Resource Management and Computer Science.

Nigeria's top judge, Chief Justice Kudirat Kekere Ekun, will give the main speech at the graudation ceremony.
