The Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Malam Muhammad Bello has ordered the closure of markets and neigbhourhood centers following the outbreak of coronavirus in Abuja.

He also ordered the immediate closure of churches and mosques in the FCT.

However, he stated that only shops selling food items and other essential commodities are allowed to be open.
