A man has revealed the benefits he gained from his coconut business even though people look down on him.
A young businessman simply known as Ebenezer has opened up about his business.
The young man sells coconut at Saint Johns near Achimota in Accra and has bought a posh car and house from the business.
Ebenezer revealed that he completed senior secondary school, but due to financial difficulties he decided to start a business as a coconut seller.
Speaking in an interview with Kingsmotion TV, he revealed he makes between GHc330 (N20,139.16) to GHc500 (N33,565.26) when business is very slow.
Although some people tend to look down on businesses such as that of Ebenezer's, he disclosed he has been able to make a living from selling coconut.
Ebenezer said he has purchased a car from the income he got from the business and also owns a house.
He stressed he would not leave the business for any other venture because he believes no other job would pay him the amount he earns from his current work.
Ebenezer’s story is inspirational for unemployed youths to look within themselves for solutions to maximise their potential.
