Chief Timi Alaibe of the APC has debunked rumours that he was planning to decamp to Governor Seriake Dickson's camp as the election takes place today.

Unconfirmed report had it that the former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), and aspirant in the last governorship primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Timi Alaibe, made last minutes arrangements to defect to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
